Daily Covet: Banana Republic Cotton Coat

Coats?!

I know, I know.  I just need a new lighter weight coat for the fall and spring seasons coming up.  I didn’t buy anything this year for obvious reasons.

But, what better time to find a new coat than when they are on wicked sales?

I love this bright cotton coat from Banana Republic.  It’s simple, has lady-like lines and will go with virtually everything.

It almost makes me excited for fall… almost.

Daily Covet: Banana Republic Deco Bracelet

Banana Republic has a new capsule collection out.  It’s inspired by the film Anna Karenina and the acessories are gorgeous!

Think deco jewelry and lavish furs (faux, of course!) Think silver embroidery, pearls and lots of lace.  Think all things super feminine.

And think about this Banana Republic Deco bracelet, which I have absolutely fallen for.

Daily Covet: Trina Turk for Banana Republic swirl tunic dress

A Trina Turk tunic dress.  That just says summer, oversized sunnies and maybe even lunch in L.A. to me.

And since orange and pink is one of my most favorite color combinations (Don’t believe me? See here!), this tunic dress immediately caught my eye.

Shopping, lunching, not wanting to wear your little black sweats the 5th day in a row… just sayin’… this tunic dress has it all!  And it has a lightweight, cotton construction for comfort with a silk blend that will dress it up a smidge.

Trina Turk at Banana Republic

Trina Turk at Banana Republic (June 7) is one of the most exciting things I’ve heard this spring, as far as fashion goes.

I adore Trina Turk’s prints and bright colors for spring and especially summer.  And now these styles are a little more affordable at Banana Republic.  While I vowed not to shop at BR anymore because of their awful customer service here in my city, y’all can fill your closet with contemporary, poppy prints at BR!

Here is the complete lookbook.

Hat Trick!

Some of you have asked for hats.  And you know I like to give you what you ask for, so here is a shot from yesterday’s Derby Party.  The Derby Party, in which my horse, Bodemeister, was in the lead for virtually the entire race until the very end.

While I didn’t lose any money, I did lose some bragging rights.

Oh well, there’s always next year!

My Paying Gig: Fashion Classics Top 10

If you can wrangle up a Diane Von Furstenberg dress on sale, you can probably wear it forever. Find out what other items are in my top 10 here on Momaha.

Daily Covet: Navy and White Striped Blazer

Looking Parisian-chic in stripes should be a cinch this season.  Anything and everything you could ever want can be found in stripes.  And this adorable blazer is no exception.  It has a great fit, it’s a great weight for spring and summer, and it looks great with every color under the sun.

My Banana Republic happens to be next door to Ann Taylor, where there is also an adorable red knit dress that I would love to wear with it for going out or a day at the office.  But throw it on with jeans and a bright yellow tee, and you have a cute “around town” outfit.   Or choose kelly green boyfriend chinos and a denim shirt for a business casual Friday and shopping with your best girls.  The possibilities are endless!  (See Polyvore.com for where to buy.)

One jacket, three ways!

Daily Covet: Take Cover in the Wild

If you LOVE, LOVE, LOVE animal prints like I do, you will not be disappointed this fall.

Animal prints – specifically my favorite leopard – is on everything.  Belts, shoes, bags and as you see here, outerwear!

If you are a regular Daily Covet imbiber, you might remember that I am coat whore (see here.)  And here are two more adorable ways to take cover in the upcoming season.

Whether you need lots of cover or just a little to take the chill off – there is something for everyone.  Here are two of my favorites!
