After months of searching (years really), we finally decided that while there are bigger houses in our neighborhood, there are none to be found that we love nearly as much as our little Tudor.
We’ve put off investing any real time, effort and money into updates on our house that weren’t absolutely necessary because we thought we’d have moved into more space by now.
However, I’m happy to report that we have officially dug in and started renovating our kitchen to make it better accommodate our growing boys. We’ve finished most of it (more on that later) but here were the plans for our new space.
It was important to us to maintain some of the traditional character that runs through the rest of our house while incorporating some more modern elements for aesthetics and convenience.
I am totally obsessed with these Givenchy slip-on Derby shoes. There are few things sexier than baring a little ankle when wearing menswear-inspired shoes. Pair them with sleek black ankle-length pants or boyfriend jeans for the most obvious ensembles. But slip them on with a full-skirted, feminine dress for an altogether eccentric combination that still works!
He’s excited. I get knots in my stomach just thinking about it.
He’s ready, but I can’t believe he’s going to be gone all day, every day. He’s been with me for almost 6 years… my buddy. my associate. my Tomas the Train enthusiast. my personal shopper. my lunch date. my baby.
So, in honor of my little guy’s first day of school, I’ve put together a fun collection of “Back to School” items that any girl could show off — in class or otherwise!
