A crossbody bag, the perfect accessory for spring.

While I love big handbags, I’m really not one for filling them up.

That’s why this Burberry Berkeley Crossbody Bag is perfect for a girl like me.  If I were to be honest, I regularly carry my wallet, lip gloss and my phone.  While I may have other stuff in my bag, it’s not stuff I use often.

I can totally see this bag being the perfect size for a concert, the Summer Arts Fair, date night or dinner with my girlfriends.

Pair it with an eyelet sundress or white jeans and a flowy top, and it’s the perfect carry-most!

Daily Covet: DVF Metallic Jacquard Dress

Nobody loves a shift more than me.

And a DVF shift is perfect for balancing out my lower half.  The “shortness” of her many shifts, show off as much of my short legs as I can appropriately show at my age.

And while I won’t be wearing non-maternity clothes for a while, I would love to add this super cool DVF Metallic Jacquard Dress to my ever-growing (never shrinking) dress collection.

It has that cool retro-futuristic (clear as mud, right?) Barbarella quality about it.  And features one of this season’s hottest hues – mint green…. or is it blue?

Daily Covet: Gucci Peep Toe & Ankle Strap Shoes

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these grass green Gucci peep toes with the gold “mirrored” heel.

Gucci obviously knows what they are doing when it comes to leather goods and these shoes scream “Spring” to me… something I’ve been waiting to hear since fall showed up last year!

This mom-to-be-again loves the fact that the heel is small and secure, but also appreciates the very sexy and feminine ankle strap.  And what’s not equally as sexy as the tiny peek at your first spring pedi?

Daily Covet: Lilly Pulitzer Charlene Dress in Stripes

I know it’s only early January, but Spring Fever is kicking in hard core.

I’m tired of knee boots, jeans, turtlenecks and heavy coats already.  I’m really wanting to wear lightweight dresses and sandals or flip flops, open-toed shoes and bright-colored shorts.

Obviously, there are a few months — even after the snow is gone for good — that sleeves and heavier fabrics are still in order.  That’s why this adorable striped Lilly Pulitzer Charlene Dress would be the perfect transition to warmer weather and shorter hemlines.

Daily Covet: DVF dress and I’m baaaaccckkk!

Hi bloggy friends.  Sorry I’ve been MIA, but the holidays and being sick have kept me from doing much posting… ok, any posting for weeks.

But!  Never fear, I am back and of course, my wish list for my spring wardrobe is getting long already.

Today, this DVF Fleurette Dress is quite possibly one of my most favorite resort looks of the season.

Diane Von Furstenberg is one of my faves anyway — especially because I absolutely adore dresses.  But her styles and fabrics are to.die.for.

This particular frock just looks so easy to wear and would be completely hot with both gold or silver sandals, bangles and oversized hoops.  While I have a few months before I’d actually be able to wear this in my ‘hood, I’m craving it’s color now!

Daily Covet: TopShop Tie Dye Kaftan

I adore this Kaftan from TopShop.

My sons and I have been spending a lot of time at the pool already this spring.

True to form, I like a variety of bathing suits and even more, a variety of cover-ups, as my running is not paying off quite as quickly as I’d like it to!

So when I found this TopShop Kaftan (chic word for the old school “cover up”), I was intrigued.

And hey, it’s not even expensive!

Daily Covet: I could go another way with an apple duvet

Remember that post I did about the cute sheet set for my guest bedroom?

Well, I found a duvet and sham set in the same apple green on OneKingsLane, but with a super springy damask print this time.

Imagine this Miranda duvet cover set paired with the white and navy sheets I already have… now all I need is some graphic navy and white curtains, and the guest room redecorate will be underway!

Raindrops, please fall on my Aigle rain boots

Rain boots.  I don’t have ’em.  I’ve ordered and tried on loads of rain boots… my calves are too big.  (Don’t get me started on that annoying subject!)

So when Aigle rain boots popped up on Gilt.com this morning for $99, I was intrigued.  I always look, but never buy.  But I love how cute they are on people with skinny legs and who are taller than 5’3″ on a good day.

I probably won’t buy rain boots, but for those of you, who love them AND look good in them (grrrrrr…), this is a pretty FAB price for Aigles.  I also won’t buy them because we’ve skipped the second half of winter and spring, and moved right into a sunny summer here.

They have them in virtually every color too.  But these are a few of my faves…

Daily Covet: Another choice in totes – Gucci

Did someone say, “Gucci?”  Yes, please.

Seemingly, this spring’s “it” bag, the tote is never hard to find.  And handsomely priced ones seem to be on my radar the most.
