Daily Covet: DVF Delian Leather Dress

A few weeks ago, I did a round up of upcoming spring fashions for “My paying gig.”  In the article, I mentioned that leather will be just as hot for spring as it was for fall/winter in 2012.

So this DVF Delian Leather Dress is just what the “style doctor” ordered!  I know it’s hard to tell, but from here the leather looks buttery soft and how chic that it’s also in a creamy white color – lighter for warm weather.  Also looks like the peplum is here to stay for at least another season.

If I weren’t going to be sporting a baby bump all spring and summer, I’d be waiting for this hot, little number to go on sale!

Daily Covet: Michael Kors Stretch Bouclé Dress

Bouclé Dresses.  So Chanel.  So 60’s.  So right on an A-line sheath.

This Michael Kors Stretch Bouclé Dress hits Spring’s trends in so many ways.  60’s style is still the rage, A-line is the shape of the Spring season and brights are the go-to hues.

What’s more?  It’s a dress almost any woman with any body type can wear right now and into early Spring.

Now, if I can just figure out where I’m gonna get $1595!

Shades of Jade

One of the hottest colors for fall also happens to be one of my favorites.  Call it “Jade”, call it “Peacock”, call it whatever you want, but call it “gorgeous!”

Here are a few of my favorite things for fall, not only in shades of jade, but in super luxe fabrics and super feminine styles.

Peter Pan Collars

Peter Pan collars are nearly everywhere you go.  You’ll find these cute collars on coats, jackets, blouses, dresses and even all by their lonesome.

While I love Peter Pan for little girls, they are so chic right now for big girls too.

Here’s a smattering of Peter Pan cuteness.

Daily Covet: Erin Fetherston Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink.  Remember the movie where “wrong side of the tracks” Andie gets the hot, rich guy, Blaine?  You know, before Jon Cryer became a bumbling idiot on Two and a Half Men?

I was just reminscing about this movie and the Brat Pack a few nights ago.

So when I saw this simple (and simply beautiful!), feminine Erin Fetherston dress, it totally reminded me of Molly Ringwald’s handmade pink, lace frock from the movie.

Daily Covet(s)

Well, it’s about that time of year again.  We are a month and a half out from the start of our holiday party circuit so I am on the hunt for my holiday party dress or outfit.  Shopping for holiday party wear is probably my most favorite pastime so I have been doing a lot of it.  Here are some of my top covets:

D & G, Ideeli sale $298

Super cute burgundy satin dinner suit by Dolce & Gabbana’s, D & G line.  I love the cropped pants (as they will be of normal length on me!) and the portrait color on the jacket.  This is a great pick for those of us that live in considerably colder climates.  It means our legs won’t freeze, if we have a long walk from the car!

Tory Burch "Panzi" Sequin Dress, Nordstrom sale $274

If you’ve done any shopping or merely standing in or near a mall, you know that sequins are everywhere.  They can be dressy all on their own with sky-high party girl shoes or dressed down with booties and a boyfriend blazer.  And this great shift style is pretty versatile for any body type.

Aidan Maddox Sequin Mesh Sheath Dress, Nordstrom $295

This little number is fanstastic all on it’s own.  Sparkling studs and strappy heels and you are set to go.  I love this dress because it offers so much coverage up top and shows so much leg at the bottom, a real “less is more” approach to a fancy night out!
